"How can they believe in the Оne of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?" Romans 10:14
In obedience to Christ’s Great Commission, House of the Gospel is doing what we can to reach the lost with the Gospel of Christ. And this is possible only because of your generosity and your prayers!
In 2013 God called us to serve the Slavic diaspora in Europe and in 2014 we moved to Italy, where we spent three years helping local churches and leading youth ministry in the city of Naples.
In 2018, we moved to Spain with a team of missionaries to plant a Slavic church in Valencia. Now, we are pastoring the church in Spain’s third-largest city. We’re grateful that God has used us to help the church grow and become a spiritual home for many immigrants and refugees, particularly those from Ukraine and other former Soviet Union countries.
Our vision is to build a strong church that can support the creation of new groups and churches across our region and throughout Spain.
Since 2000, I (Eli) have been making missionary trips to Siberia for 7 years. Then Mexico, but the Lord was preparing me for ministry in Europe. In 2010, I flew to Italy for the first time and saw a great need for evangelism, and the formation of a church in Naples began…
In 2012, we heard God's calling, and the whole family, my wife Svetlana, daughters Linet and Alethea, and I moved for a long-term mission to open new Slavic churches in Italy. God, rich in mercy and love, blessed our work and by His will, 7 churches were opened in Italy. We also helped in opening new churches in Spain, Germany, France, and other European countries.
Currently we are serving in "The Word of Life" church in Rome.
For many years Sergey Babich and his family served as missionaries in Siberia, Russia. Sergey has also served as a pastor of a church in Moscow and teacher of a Theological seminary, and coordinator of family services in Russia.
Since 2016, Sergey, his wife Vera and their adult children, Artyom and Yana have been missionaries in Strasbourg, France, where they minister to Slavic immigrants. In 2017, they opened a new Slavic church in Strasbourg, 'The Church for All Nations'. They also started House Churches in other cities.
Pastor Jonah (name is changed) is serving with the MICM among the Unreached People Groups in the highly persecuted area of India.
Jonah has a story somewhat similar to Jonah of the Bible. In his young years, he rejected God's calling to serve Him. But after a severe illness and miraculous healing, he surrendered himself to the Lord's work.
Jonah says,
"Now, as long I live, until my last breath, I will serve the Lord. I want to reach the marginalized people of society, the poor, orphans, and widows, and when they get uplifted by the love and grace of Jesus and follow Him, that is the greatest joy of my life."
