Sergey & Vera Babich

Since 2016, Sergey and his wife Vera have been missionaries in Strasbourg, France, where they minister to Slavic immigrants. In 2017, they opened a new Slavic church in Strasbourg, 'The Church for All Nations', and also started several House Churches in other cities.

The focus of the ministry is missionary work and making disciples.


Regular steps to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ:

  • Small home Bible study groups - currently three groups.
  • Street events, music groups, distribution of tracts.
  • Creative clubs for women and children.
  • Family camps (30% are non-believers).
  • Free psychological counseling for non-believers in our office (me and my wife), people come with problems, there is repentance.
  • Family club, where we invite everyone, both believers and non-believers.
  • All major Christian holidays – this is evangelism events, which are attended by approximately 30% of non-believers.
  • Men's fellowship events, where non-believing friends are invited.
  • Women's fellowships events, conducted by Vera, are attended not only by believers but also by other women close to God.
  • Youth ministry, picnics, where non-believers are invited. Two-day youth trips, where it is not just a party, but where the Gospel is studied, where 40% are non-believers. The youth leader is our son Artem.
  • Church picnics, where non-believers are invited.
  • Humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian refugees who live in hotels, we fellowship with them, pray together, inviting to services and other events.
  • June 2024, opening of a new House Church in the city of Saverne, France (60 km from Strasbourg), a group entirely of unbelievers, several of whom already gave their lives to Christ.

Prayer Needs

We always covet your prayers for our ministry in France!


  • For growth of the House Church in Saverne, for many unbelievers to come to the meetings and surrender to Christ.
  • Pray for the opening of a new House Church in the city of Nancy (180 km from Strasbourg)
  • Pray for the baptismal candidates - five people who have expressed their desire to be baptized.
  • For opening a club-cafe for unbelievers, inviting them to fellowship, most of whom are refugees from Ukraine. We intend to open a cafe-club after the evangelization on May 9th.
  • For my health and my wife's, severe pain in the intestines and so far, no treatment. Vera is sent for additional examination.
